I'm going to be starting a new chapter in my life now, for a few reasons.
Starting a new job, going to be actually starting the last monday of this month. I will be doing home health care now, something I've been interested in a long time now. That will end a chapter in my life for the job I've done for over 6 years and starting a new one.
I want to look into locally selling my art and showing it. I'm going to start working on this this upcoming week. Looking into places and seeing what my options are. Mostly I'd like to show my paintings, but well see what I can find.
Next I'd like to take time away from dating and focus on what's going on in my life locally. See my parents more, my friends, my dog, even possibly adopt an indoor cat. I had a relationship end and it leaves with me with pain but on the one side I can see growth now coming from my heart. Breathing time is now needed to heal the pain and hurt.
Thank you all for the support on here - both the old and the new friends I've made. Without you all viewing my art, sharing yours, the comments, the time you've all taken on here... it means alot. This is my favorite site - has been for years. I'm happy to be a part of it.

New Year resolutions
So this year I am keeping my resolution simple: I canceled my netflix account and all those hours sitting in front of the t.v after long days of work, I will be working on my art, sewing, crafts and reading. I have so many nice new art supply's and wonderful books - I need to enjoy them more and use them. I feel like too many hours sitting and watching show and movie after show and movie. It would be nice to create something and let my imagination wonder and see where it takes me :)

Searching
Sometimes I wake up or even when I go to sleep I feel like I'm searching for something along the subject of happiness and bliss.
I'm not saying I'm depressed or anything, but I feel like at times something else is out there waiting for me.
A new adventure, a place to go explore, maybe a new friend.
Guess I feel like I feel that there is more of a plan or something more powerful set out there for me.
Sometimes I look in the mirror and look at myself, think of all I've faces, whats yet to come?
This morning it was a very strong feeling.

Pokemon X Y!
I know its a few years old and all... but I got back into playing my pokemon X game. I was curious if anyone else still plays and would want to trade their friend codes.

I plan on buying the newer pokemon games later this year... probably an early birthday gift to myself.
It would be great to trade and battle with any of you!Two of my old friends/old co-workers got Pokemon X and Y so I'm going to help them with some trades and such.

I fully understanding to take the time to heal and to recover from a stressful period in our lives. I'm presently recovering from a prolonged period of unemployment as well as other personal issues. I recently had to restart my career path because of the economical changes were all facing. After seven years in one career field I now find myself in a Junior roll again. I can understand what you've gone through and hope that with time your heart heals.
Art is a great way of overcoming emotional turmoil and I do hope that you end up showing off your are more and possibly even selling it. I hope you be willing to show more of your work here on deviant art.
